Description
SAIC is looking for an Engineering Technician IV in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy.
This person will provide technical support for AEA assigned systems or platforms to include the modification, maintenance, repair, and upgrade (MRU) of fielded EW systems and related Support Equipment.
Job Duties Include:
- Test and evaluate EA-18G Fleet Support Team (FST) systems, subsystems, equipment and components both locally and at other test sites and locations.
- Conduct routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing
- Analyze test results; Determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data.
- RF Troubleshooting, Automated Test Equipment, Coax cable repair
- Test Equipment working knowledge
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate's Degree in related discipline and two (2) years or more of related experience; OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of test and troubleshoot to component level repair experience
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Experience in RF Troubleshooting, Automated Test Equipment, Coax cable repair
- Test Equipment working knowledge (Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, etc.)
DESIRED
- Soldering experience is beneficial
