Description

• Review pending critical system outages for timing and impact deconfliction
• Track approved scheduled outages for mission-critical systems
• Update products with current and relevant information on a continuous basis
• Brief current and forecasted system status and health information
• Monitor major cyber events
• Provide defense mitigation recommendations and risk assessments to the Battle Captain in accordance with current operational priorities
• Review reporting and coordinate with partners (e.g. JFHQ-DODIN, J36 GMEC, NSA) as required on significant activity reports, malware analysis requests, and requests for support from organizations external to the JOC
• Evaluate information reported from USCYBERCOM components and make recommendations to the Battle Captain on time-sensitive actions required to ensure DOD capabilities remain secure and resilient
• Develop information requirements necessary to resolve cyberspace vulnerability or threat-related questions;
• Provide support in the response, mitigation, and reporting of cyber incidents / malware / indicators of compromise submitted to USCYBERCOM through various unclassified channels

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma
• Minimum six years of experience as a Cyberspace Analyst or a related functional area
• Minimum DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification, CSSP Incident Responder, or CSSP Infrastructure Support
