SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) business unit provides Information Technology, Engineering, and Mission solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as cloud, data, cyber, AI/ML, and software.

We are seeking a Technical Director to support a portfolio of Intelligence Community (IC) work with emphasis at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and focused on Information Technology, Engineering, and Mission solutions and services.  This position will serve as a key member of SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) business unit leadership team and focused on leading strategic growth in digital, IT, transformation solutions as it aligns with SAIC’s and the Customer’s strategic direction.

Responsibilities include:

• Work collaboratively with the NIC business unit leadership and provide technical leadership to delivery teams and priority growth opportunities.
• Develop solutions in the areas of cloud, data, cyber, AI/ML and software.
• Analyzes new business opportunities and develops strategies to influence client technical requirements.
• Meets with customers to understand technical requirements, state of current environments, mission needs, and hard problem sets.
• Builds and develops vendor relationships to assist long-term commitments and support through the lifecycle of their offerings.
• Work collaboratively with the SAIC Innovation Factory Teams (IFT) and other sector Technical Directors to identify, harvest and possibly develop cross-SAIC technical synergies to improve opportunity solutions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
• 15+ years of relevant technical experience with 5+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Successful track record of providing technical direction to a portfolio of digital modernization programs in areas such as cloud development and migration, IT system integration, cybersecurity, data and analytics, machine learning, application development, and DevSecOps.
• Experience in successfully delivering cloud-based solutions on either AWS, Microsoft, Google, IBM, or Oracle platforms.
• Demonstrated success identifying, qualifying, and winning small and large captures.
• Technical domain experience and deep knowledge of ODNI programs.
• Significant and relevant customer relationships across ODNI.

Desired qualifications:

• Advanced Cloud certification (Microsoft, AWS, Google, IBM, Oracle).
• Experience in bringing innovative approaches to address complex problems bridging operational and technical domains.
• Experience with Big Data architectures, frameworks, and challenges to provide differentiating solutions to NIC data-focused opportunities.
• Experience with IC identity programs and the interplay and information-sharing aspects of those programs.
• Experience with Palantir software platforms
