Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Senior Technical Targeter experienced in Identity Intelligence to support the China AOR in building targeting packages ranging from simple quick-turn around RFIs to highly detailed and complex long term projects centered around revealing identities of foreign actors and/or organizations as well as relationships to industry, infrastructure, and technology.  The candidate must have a strong analytic background with the ability to draft cables and CIRs.  The candidate is expected to be a well-rounded full performer with demonstrated expertise in various targeting methodologies, biographic data types (both open source and sponsor data), technical data types, and the full suite of targeting tools.



  • Active TS/SCI w/ Poly

  • Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more work experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and fifteen(15) years or more experience.  

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in:

    • Targeting and/or analytic experience within the IC, military, commercial, industry, or other federal/state/local Government agencies.

    • Conducting multi-disciplined intelligence analysis such as HUMINT, OSINT, SIGINT and producing tailored analytic products.

    • Creating targeting packages and/or brokering targeting requirements between sponsor offices.

    • Creating, developing, and/or refining analytic products based on Sponsor requirements.

    • In-depth knowledge of common analytic practices, tools, and databases.



  • Knowledge of the China AOR

  • Foreign language capabilities (Mandarin)

  • Familiarity with technical collection and technical operations

  • Willingness to mentor junior personnel
