The National Security & Space Sector of SAIC is seeking a Software Engineer Jrnyman to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.

DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.
Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).
JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, operation, and modernization of software applications by coding, debugging, compiling, integrating, and testing application/software solutions to support the overall Agile-based development process established for the DCSA OCIO IT operating environment, IAW ITIL best practices, DoD and DCSA guidance. Works with customer, analysts, and lead programmer to document and understand software requirements, design the software, and subsequently build software to satisfy these requirements, using best practices to include DevSecOps CI/CD, Agile and SCRUM development processes. Integrates and tests software on various potential platforms. Troubleshoots, reviews and updates, and/or integrates existing custom and COTS/GOTS software for new solutions. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Provides software engineering support to implementation of and compliance with automated internal controls for property accountability, implementation of automated activities within DCSA, and automation needed for the hand receipts and other activities involved in management of controlled property. Supports activities needed to implement and maintain Asset Performance Management software, also assisting with creation of models within the software or automated integration of data sources. Supports creation and maintenance of the Task Order Management Portal, as well as updating and providing auto-discovery capability for the CMDB.
It is required that the Software Engineer Journeyman have the following qualifications:
IAT Level II, Certification in one of the following areas, CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP
Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
