SAIC is seeking an IT Project Manager / Systems Integration Manager for a new and exciting Air Force program in San Antonio, TX at Randolph AFB.  

The IT Manager will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our customers computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our customer needs to ensure these services run smoothly on a day-to-day basis ensuring secure operation throughout each location.  

Duties & Responsibilities:  

• Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies  

• Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure  

• Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes  

• Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs  

• Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software  

• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures to Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems  

• Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance  

• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time  

• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness  

• Ability to manage personnel at multiple geographically separated locations 

Qualifications

Qualifications  

Required Experience & Education:  

• Bachelor's and nine (9) years or more experience or Master's and seven (7) years or more experience, or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree

• Requires experience, and proven ability with Computer Networks, Windows and Linux Operating System, Network Administration, Network Installation, Computer Hardware and Software  

• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems  

• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills  

• Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize  

• Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices  

• Must possess an active Security+ Certification (Or IATII equivalent) 

Additional Experience Desired (not required):  

• Flight Simulator Software  

• Virtual Reality / Mixed Reality  

• Cloud Administration
