SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Operations Lead to join our Information Technology Transformation to Cloud Enterprise (IT2CE) team.  As the Business Operations Lead, you will support and advise the program manager in planning, managing, and evaluating the program, operations, and processes.  Additionally, you will provide the downward focus with emphasis on transition-in activities, particularly staffing, and the transitions between task areas on the program.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Ensuring focus on transition activities
  • Increasing resiliency, speed, and scale
  • Conducting research, analyzing data, identifying trends, and preparing reports
  • Determining program requirements and making recommendations
  • Assessing and advising on potential issues related to costs, schedules, and performance
  • Coordinating with the lead program architect to identify costs optimization opportunities
  • Receiving assignments in the form of objectives, and determining how to use resources to meet schedules and goals
  • Assisting the program manager with the development of budgets and schedules, as well as tracking metrics
  • Recommending changes to policies and establishing procedures that affect immediate organization
  • Coordinating daily with the program’s control analyst and program manager to communicate financial status
  • Tracking the security processing status of new hires utilizing automated dashboards

 

 

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with eligibility and willingness to take a CI polygraph
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field
  • 10+ years of experience as a program analyst or in a similar role
  • Background in finance
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience using Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Desired: 

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
