The National Security & Space Sector of SAIC is seeking a Change Release Manager to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.
SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation’s information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.
Specifically on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).
Job Description
Responsible for planning, designing, scheduling, testing, deploying, and controlling the movement of new NISS application releases to test and production environments IAW with customer and DoD policies and procedures and commonly utilized industry best practices. Manages both major deployments and minor releases according to schedules for low, medium, and high levels of effort. Ensures that the integrity of the production environment is protected, the correct components are released, and that necessary platforms and infrastructure to support automation of application development and release are in place. Ensures robust change governance is in place to avoid any disruption tocustomer business when implementing changes. Ensures that, prior to release, all transition phase deliverables are reviewed and validated, software and/or hardware is tested, procedures are reviewed and validated, and knowledge transfer is complete between teams. Supports PRR with completed PRR Checklist (DEL 124). Interfaces and communicates with test managers, IT operations, development team and the PMO daily and keeps track of multiple project release timelines. Coordinates with and manages the release process with QA, IT service delivery teams, business users, developers and technical support specialists on product issues. Creates, maintains, and publishes release deployment plans and calendars providing timelines for release build and test, deployment, early life support and closure. Manages schedules (including forward schedule of release) and resource allocation adhering to timelines to ensure timely product delivery. Provides critical review on all the release and change collaterals (change requests, release plans, build and test plans, deployment plans, etc.). Tracks all releases that are to be implemented and that have been implemented. Daily POC for release and deployment management. Manages integration management function as necessary for delivery of components by third party. Reports and documents key release management metrics. Performs risk assessment and management in relation to release and change deployment, including the development of cutover and roll back plans. Directs and leads the release and deployment management team and ensures appropriate training.

BA/BS
9 to 13 years of experience
TS (SCI Eligible) and Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications
MA/MS with 7 to 11 years of experience
