Introduction
The National Security Customer Group of SAIC is seeking a Systems Administrator Senior (Directory Services) to support a transformational infrastructure program within the DoD.
Job Description
Provides directory services across the customer’s unclassified and classified networks as part of the overall strategic objective of the IT modernization and One IT initiatives to provide an improved flexible and evolving enterprise IT environment to support the mission IAW with DoD policies and procedures and commonly utilized industry best practices. Ensures continuity in the day-to-day operation of the Windows Active Directory multi-domain infrastructure (LDAP, Directory Replication, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Performs Microsoft Label (LBL) Active Directory (AD) management including user, group, application, and device standards. Creates, manages, and delivers data standards, and keeps DCSA management informed of domain-side changes, issues, and resolutions. Provides monitoring and reporting of domain reliability and security. Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues. Performs Domain Controller (DC) Management and plans and manages AD and DC migrations and upgrades. Performs OU account management, including creation/deletion/management of objects in their OU hierarchy. Ensures security and integrity of the managed OU hierarchy. Creates, troubleshoots, and manages Group Policy Objects (GPOs). Publishes resource objects from and manages GPO links within OU hierarchies. Coordinates with server and/or data owners to set up permissions. Tests AD changes, new software deployments, and GPO policies in a test domain prior to implementation. Assists data owners with archiving to alternative storage. Conducts policy monitoring and compliance, including enforcing standard naming conventions in the domain and Organizational Unit (OU), as well as arbitrates disputes between OU Admins. Provides requested event information to customer management when desktop-related problems stem from a change to the AD or DC configuration. Reports to customer management when issues affect more than one user, providing AAR and root cause analysis. Provides space usage projections. Provide inputs into the Activity Report.

It is required that the Systems Administrator Senior (Directory Services) have the following qualifications
High School Diploma in lieu of a BA/BS is acceptable.
5 to 8 years of experience
TS (SCI Eligible)
IAT Level II or CSSP-IS, Certification in one of the following areas, CEH, CSA+, GICSP, SSCP, CCNA Security, GSEC, SEcurity+ CE
Applicable Server Management Compute Environment (CE) Certification
Desired Qualifications
MA/MS with 3 to 6 years of experience
TS/SCI
