SAIC is looking for an experienced Program Security Officer to support NGA’s Office of Special Programs.  This individual will be required to operate in a diverse security environment that involves controlled access programs and special access programs.  This position will be required to perform program security tasks that include

• Work security issues in a multi-disciplined and complex organization
• Conduct briefings and indoctrinations for multiple programs
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities change constantly
• Develop, coordinated, maintain, and execute security Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Review and verify personnel security clearances for SAP and CAP accesses through queries to government security databases and systems
• Liaise with other security staff and INFOSEC team to ensure security policies and procedures are in compliance
• Working knowledge of classification management, information systems security, personnel security, and physical security for the purpose of providing guidance

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Must have current/active TS/SCI 
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10+ years of experience
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills
• Must have previous Program Security Officer (PSO) experience or equivalent experience
• Must have experience making classification decisions
• Demonstrated knowledge of NGA , other IC agency and DoD
