SAIC is looking for a MBSE Systems Integration Analyst to support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Training Systems Program Office with PEO (A). NAVAIR has undertaken an organization-wide initiative to implement a Systems Engineering Transformation (SET), which will reengineer the entire systems acquisition process.  The goal is to incorporate the latest approaches in Digital Engineering and requires sets of related models that describe and analyze the desired systems. The selected candidate will directly support the Advanced Development Team in guiding and developing the system models required.  

This position has potential to be remote and therefore open to all candidates who meet the minimum requirements. 

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Support the execution of an advanced development program in system and digital engineering. Support the engineering team to establish and manage digital representations of the weapon system's technical baselines. Guide the analysis and synthesis of Requirements, Interfaces, Behavior, Structure and Parametrics (RJBS-P) across the weapon system's technical baselines, utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)/SysML and various modeling and simulation tools. Provide support in implementing the necessary methods, processes, tools, training, and network data transfers to establish an efficient, synchronized, and cohesive DE environment across Government and Industry, reconciled against the authoritative source of truth.
  • Perform the following using MBSE tools/methods: requirements analysis/synthesis, requirements definition and management, functional analysis, performance analysis, system design and trade study analysis, system integration and verification modeling, and overall model of models validation.
  • Provide support in establishing a technical foundation to rapidly integrate new capabilities, develop program descriptions/plans, and establish integrated roadmaps in-support of program priorities. Guide the development of the necessary model views required to obtain Government Subject Matter Experts and stakeholder concurrence on technical baseline content to place under change and version control. Coordinate definition, review, and approval of system design feature attributes across the engineering team. Provide support to the engineering team with model-based evaluations of system designs as required.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSET:

  • Bachelors in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
  • 3+ years of experience with the below is required: 
    • SysML/Cameo Systems Modeler
    • Stochastic and Deterministic Simulations
  • Interim Secret clearance is required, active Secret clearance preferred

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Java, Groovy, Python
  • UML
  • Basic Data Science Principles

Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
