Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).  The National Security & Space Sector of SAIC is seeking an Architecture and Engineering Lead to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.  

SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation’s information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.  

Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT). 
 
Job Description  

Lead for Architecture and Engineering efforts, as part of the overall strategic objective of the DCSA IT modernization and One IT initiatives to provide a flexible enterprise IT environment to support the DCSA mission IAW with DCSA and DoD policies and procedures and commonly utilized industry best practices.. Leads, directs, and coordinates efforts to cohesively design, engineer, implement and secure networks, storage, systems, applications, web content, SharePoint sites, cloud computing initiatives, and technology required to integrate and improve the environment, and ensures application of best practices and agility in doing so. Reliably and securely implements approved architectural and engineering solutions and plans. Provides leadership and guidance, determines and prioritizes work assignments, ensures on-time delivery, and oversees all other aspects of the A&E team. Ensures the A&E team is well-trained for current and emergent technologies and products and cross-trained, where possible, to create additional depth of knowledge. Works with Enterprise Architect to conduct analysis and formulate integration strategy and approach for diverse and complex components, supporting his/her efforts to create an enterprise architecture plan and technology roadmap. Maintains awareness and transparency of performance metrics. Develops documents necessary to initiate projects. Leads development of technology packages for DCSA’s Technical Review Board. Provides updates to OCIO and A&E leadership, specifically contributing to Daily Status Report. Provide inputs into the Activity Report. 
 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications  

It is required that the Architecture and Engineering Lead have the following qualifications: 

• BA/BS 

• 18 or more years of experience 

• TS (SCI Eligible) Clearance 

• Certification in one of the following areas: CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CSSLP (IAT-III or IASAE-II) 

Desired Qualifications  

• MA/MS with 16 or more years of experience 

• PhD with 14 or more years of experience 

• TS/SCI
