SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications. 

We are seeking a highly motivated Communications Specialist to join our multi-million dollar National Intelligence program supporting the Cloud Investment Multi-Cloud Management (CIMM) team.  As a contributor to the Intelligence Community’s first multi-cloud initiative, you will be at the epicenter of emergent cloud computing technologies, establishing a foundation that will evolve to include all agencies within the IC.  As a Communications Specialist, you will proactively identify and implement CIMM marketing strategies. 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Analyzing customer needs, making appropriate recommendations for message and information development, communication method selection, and timing of messages 

• Researching, writing, editing, and publishing communications products 

• Providing direction to graphic designers, briefing developers, photographers, illustrators, and other required staff 

• Supporting Customer Leadership by helping to develop speeches, talking points, video scripts, briefings, and other engagement products

Qualifications

Required:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph 

• 5+ years specializing in marketing and communications 

• Knowledge of current principles, practices, techniques, and objectives of public information and media relations programs 

• Knowledge in mass communication utilizing various media, public speaking, and written communications 

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills 

Desired:

• Experience in a cloud and/or hybrid environment 

• Experience briefing senior-level executives and government officials
