Description

SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, is seeking a Systems Engineer that specializes in systems engineering to assist in identifying technology solutions to address technology gaps such as in cellular and cloud services.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring technical solutions are scalable to meet enterprise requirements
- Identifying technical and security risks and develop mitigation strategies to address risks
- Evaluating technologies for suitability and applicability to address the requirements
- Developing use cases for the Sponsor’s business needs
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Note that years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in the following:
- Working and utilizing Microsoft Azure
- Utilizing other cloud service providers such as AWS and Google
- Integrating solutions in a production environment
- Employing enterprise IT systems design and implementation
- Using hypervisors and virtual technologies
- Utilizing networking devices and firewalls
- Employing security concepts related to DNS, routing, authentication, certificate authentication, and VPN tunneling
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with cellular technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with Android and iOS operating systems.
