SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist/Application Tester to be a part of an integrated team to create, update, and maintain a federated search and discovery software system to integrate data related to financial information from a variety of data providers. These applications will reside in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Development environment. User requirements and subsequent application features are implemented on an iterative basis in accordance with the Agile Scrum paradigm.
Responsibilities include:
Creating and maintaining an automated test environment in the AWS environment using technologies such as Selenium or comparable testing tools
Testing the developed features and enhancements to web applications, APIs, and web services
Utilizing a tracking system to track all tasks and user stories
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Note that years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in the following:
Working within an Agile Scrum team environment
Working within a cloud environment, specifically AWS
Utilizing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Performing requirements analysis
creating and maintaining an automated test environment using technologies such as Selenium, Junit, and Mockito
Testing APIs and applications
Utilizing scripting languages such as Java and JavaScript
Using team collaboration tools such as Confluence or similar
Using issue tracking applications such as Jira (preferred) or similar
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience with testing tools such as Selenium.
Demonstrated experience supporting Enterprise software development efforts.
Certifications:
Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
Certified Financial Crimes Specialist (CFCS)
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
Six Sigma Certification
