SAIC is seeking a skilled junior to mid-level Software Developer with experience in Terraform, Packer, Ansible, and other Infrastructure-as-Code tools, as well as experience with Microsoft Azure cloud. If you are a self-motivated software developer who is passionate about cloud-based infrastructure and applications, we encourage you to apply even if you are missing some of the experience requirements. We have multiple different positions available for all experience and skill levels.
As a Software Developer on our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based infrastructure and applications using Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Maintain and improve existing infrastructure and applications in the Microsoft Azure cloud
- Participate in the entire software development life cycle, from design and development to testing and deployment
- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality code and functionality
- Keep up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trend
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess an active Secret clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in software development using Terraform, Packer, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud
- Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure and applications
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, TypeScript, or others
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
