JOB DESCRIPTION:

Candidates primary responsibilities involve Providing administration, support and development for ITSM V7.6 (or higher) ServiceNow Applications. Assignments will include the design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing information systems (which includes ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) suite and their infrastructure). These duties include, but are not limited to: (1) Gather customer requirements; (2) Translate user requirements into systems requirements; (3) Plan and design systems architecture; (4) Write, debug, and maintain various code and scripts; (5) Design user interfaces; (6) Work with customers to test Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) computer based applications; (7) Write and maintain program documentation; (8) Ensure the rigorous application of organization information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices.

Recommends design changes, tracks work, and assists in the development of quality assurance plans.. May act as a key technical point of contact for assigned activities. Contributes to the preparation of management/technical reports or contractual documents, and may communicate the overall results of a project or work activity to management. Established policies/procedures provide guidance for most assignments, but allow considerable discretion to select the most appropriate approach or to recommend new approaches. Provides guidance to lower-level technical staff on how to solve difficult technical issues. Resolves all but unique technical problems without the intervention of management. Identifies and informs management of problems that require their attention.

 

Qualifications

Candidates that do not have 12 years’ experience and proven ServiceNow administration skills will not be considered for this position.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:


A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other related discipline is required.  Eight (8) years of relevant experience is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
