SAIC is seeking a GPS SE&I Technical Librarian to join our team of diverse Position Navigation and Timing (PNT) Enterprise Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) experts. The PNT SE&I team provides specialized engineering, analysis, operations, support and subject matter expertise (SME) support for the Global Positioning System (GPS) supporting the Space Systems Command. The team also provides system engineering and analysis services to include system development, enterprise and system architecture, acquisition, testing, operations, and sustainment support for existing and new capabilities.  Finally, team members provided an enterprise perspective for identification and review of risks and risk mitigation plans and work to institutionalize system engineering best practices across the Space Systems Command.

• This position is located at the SAIC Facility and the Los Angeles Air Force Base from 7:00 to 3:30 (M-F).
• Responsibilities:
  • Apply best practice configuration management processes to the GPS Technical Library (Classified/Unclassified)
  • Comply with courier requirements to transfer data to and from the Los Angeles Air Force Base and the SAIC Facility
  • Provide daily support at the GSP technical library supporting management of data
  • Maintain status accounting of the GPS technical library
  • Coordinate with SSC/CG configuration and data management
  • Manage, track and distribute documents to stakeholder's, while maintaining audit trail
  • Review and report to GPS library program data metrics to benchmark effectiveness
  • Ensure obsolete documentation is removed from distribution and database updates
  • Restructure GPS library to formal configuration management structure/database (LiveLink)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or six (6) years or more experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
• Secret Clearance is Required
• Strong written and verbal communication Skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
