SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.

We are seeking a highly motivated UI/UX Developer to join our Information Technology Transformation to Cloud Enterprise (IT2CE) team.  As the UI/UX Developer, you will be responsible for the design and development of a multi-cloud dashboard that will house libraries of best practice in multi-cloud.  This dashboard will be developed to drive commonality, security, and quality by populating best practices, patterns, and playbooks from multi-cloud programs, including identified best-of-breed services from all Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and Zero Trust Architectures (ZTAs).  You will also engage with stakeholders to develop the portal and dashboards to facilitate communication and collaboration across the Sponsor’s enterprise.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Collecting and evaluating user requirements
  • Using programming code to create interactive programs that enhance a user’s experience
  • Conducting the testing of completed applications, websites, and software to assess user experience 
  • Developing overall concepts for improving the user experience within a business website or product 
  • Ensuring UX principles and best practices are understood and implemented
  • Assisting to ensure a consistent look and feel across applications 
  • Collaborating with backend developers and programmers to improve usability

 

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with eligibility and willingness to take a CI polygraph
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphics Design, or related discipline
  • 9+ years of experience creating and implementing UI development
  • 9+ years of experience with HTML and CSS
  • Demonstrated experience creating code based on the Sponsor’s personalized needs and requirements
  • Proficient with visual design program such as Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Desired: 

  • Experience working in a cloud and/or hybrid environment
