Description
SAIC is actively hiring multiple Cyberspace Operations Analysts to support the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), Fort Meade, Maryland.
This position is that of a DCO Mission Lead: Member of the Battle Watch Team and the Fires Cell functioning as the Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) mission lead when on shift. The DCO Mission Lead maintains situational awareness of DCO activities across the USCYBERCOM components, tracks DCO mission reports, conducts DCO analysis, and makes recommendations to the Fires Cell and Battle Watch Team.
Responsibilities include:
Track and oversee DCO missions and information required for USCYBERCOM command and control of Cyber Mission Force (CMF) operations.
Provide recommendations to the Battle Captain on decisions and risk assessments in accordance with current operational priorities.
Review USCYBERCOM components’ reports on CMF team status and operations updates.
Review intelligence products as required related to ongoing DCO missions.
Evaluate information received across the CMF to make recommendations to the Battle Captain on time-sensitive actions required to ensure DOD capabilities remain secure and resilient.
Review identified indicators of compromise and support supplemental analysis to determine attribution and subsequent effects to DOD.
Develop information requirements necessary to resolve cyberspace vulnerability or threat-related questions.
Communicate complex cyber planning and operations information, orally and in writing, elicits understanding and support from professional peers and non-specialists
Demonstrate broad, expert knowledge of the Command’s Cyber missions, authorities, and capabilities as well as equivalent information regarding the roles and responsibilities of the Command’s external program partners which includes (but not limited to) other DoD commands and agencies, other U.S. Government agencies and key partners.
Evaluate and conduct development of Cyberspace Operations (CO) requirements.
Shiftwork on a schedule that cycles every 10 weeks utilizing 12-hour shifts
and 8-hour support days
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum three years of experience in Cyber
Minimum of High School Diploma; 2 + Years with BS and 0 Years with MS
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communications skills
