SAIC is sponsoring a professional Internship on our Cloud One Program. This Internship is being offered to recent UML college graduates to gain knowledge, skills and abilities to perform at a professional level. The SAIC Air Force Cloud One Program is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized IT infrastructure that hosts mission systems, applications, services, and data in support of DoD Services and Agencies. Cloud One incorporates the capabilities of Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and DevSecOps principles to provide common services and facilitate cloud application migrations to IL-4, IL-5, IL-6 (NIPRNet) cloud environments. This Internship is located at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide entry to intermediate-level professional services, under supervision of professional staff and/or faculty personnel, as appropriate to the day-to-day operating objectives of the unit
- Undertake and/or participate in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise appropriate to the needs of the organization
- Participate in the planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise
- Interact directly with colleagues, clientele, and/or other internal or external customers
- Receive guidance, training, and mentoring from professional personnel in planning and carrying out activities and assignments
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School and three (3) years or more of college coursework in a technical field
