Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, and email systems
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage physical and virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
- Perform server administration tasks in a mixed environment, including user/group management, file permissions, Group Policy, file replication, and resource monitoring
- Maintain, deploy, and support internal infrastructure, including client computer systems, servers, switches, routers, and ASAs
- Schedule and perform routine maintenance, patches, and upgrades of computer systems
- Provide help desk and IT support as needed
- Support and maintain Azure DevOps Server
- Additional duties assigned based on changes to business needs
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of system administration experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree
Required Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to employment; must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance to maintain employment.
Required Skills:
- Experience providing desktop, server and VM support with Microsoft technologies (This team is running on Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019, and VMWare/VMWare Horizon)
- Experience maintaining IT networks (Cisco routers, switches, maintaining network connections, etc.)
- Able to obtain a CompTIA Security+ Certification within 90 days of employment
Desired Skills:
- Configuration Management experience
- Experience managing development pipelines
- CCNA certification
