SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, is seeking a Software Developer who will develop a user friendly web application designed to the requirements, develop new features and enhancements to web applications to allow users to search and correlate financial information related to their mission, and develop APIs and web services.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and enhancing current system(s) software
• Implementing new functionality to system(s) software
• Developing applications and modifications to existing Sponsor applications in compliance with the architectural and Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) process.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Note that years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Five (5) of more years of demonstrated experience in the following development activities:

• Developing in a DevOps environment
• Developing software in a continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD) paradigm
• Programming with Java and associated frameworks, such as Spring Boot
• Using Elasticsearch and other big data technologies, such as MapReduce
• Scripting using JavaScript (JS) such as Angular
• Using an Agile development methodology
• Using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with requirements analysis
• Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, React, Angular, Spring, Swagger, or C/C++ and C#
• Using issue tracking applications such as Jira (preferred) or similar
• Using team collaboration tools such as Confluence (preferred) or similar
• Working within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment and utilizing their tools such as SMS, Data Pipeline, Relational Database (RDS), CloudWatch, EC2, EBS, S3, KMS, or SMS
• Using tools such as Apache Ant, Hadoop, Spark, Tomcat, Solr, and Spark, JDBC, Active Directory, LDAP, Regex, SQL, or JSON

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with financial data sets
• One or more of the following certifications:

• AWS Certified Developer
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• DevOps Certification
