SAIC has an opportunity for a MIV Developer to join a team of professionals providing support to complex development, maintenance, test, and production development environments.  This role supports a State Department customer who has a large portfolio of new and legacy systems managed in a scaled Agile Framework approach.

Role allows for a hybrid remote schedule and would report onsite in the Crystal City, Virginia area as needed depending on the team schedule and project activities.  Subject to change.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and modify software systems and custom components using a modern dev stack
• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage, and work processes; and investigate problem areas
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems
• Develop and execute test procedures for software components
• Analyze user requirements to derive technical software design and performance requirements
• Lead PL SQL development, owns the repo(s), approves merge requests, accountable for the quality

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelors and three (3) years or more experience; Masters and 1 years related experience; may accept additional experience in lieu of degree
•  3+ years of extensive experience in in designing and building responsive user Interface (UI) applications using HTML5, AJAX, CSS & JavaScript, Bootstrap/ jQuery.
• 3+ years of experience in developing stored procedures, functions, Views and Triggers, Complex queries using Oracle DB
• 3+ years of experience in software development using Oracle PL/SQL Web Toolkit
• 2+ years of experience in software development using PHP
• Experience working with XML/JSON
• Experience using GitLab source code management
• Experience working with Agile Development Methodology
• Experience deploying software / database using CI / CD pipeline leveraging tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
• Develop and deploy DB scripts to support maintenance activities

Required Clearance

• US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred.
