Description

SAIC has an opportunity for a Cyberspace Training Specialist at Ft. Meade, Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating training needs, participating in planning of, and identifying and tracking observations and lessons learned from training and exercise events and activities, for USCYBERCOM and federal/military partners.
 
Responsibilities may include:
  • Contributes to the overall addressing operational training, and evaluation priorities/needs in collaboration with
  • Contributes to overall operational training of the Joint Operations Center (JOC) and assists with evaluating organizational priorities/needs in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Contributes to the planning and design phase to operations asset, training and exercises by preparing and disseminating products such as exercise plan (EXPLAN), controller/evaluator (C/E) handbook, Master Scenario Events List (MSEL), player briefings, and After Action Reports/Corrective Action Plans (AAR/CAP)
  • Contributes to both designing and planning exercises by preparing and disseminating products such as exercise plans (EXPLAN), controller/evaluator (C/E) handbooks, Master Scenario Events List (MSEL), player briefings, After Action Reports/Corrective Action Plans, etc.
  • Contributes to the development, coordination, and assists in the implementation of annual exercises and training and staffing plans
  • Assists with the development, coordination, and implementation of annual exercises, training, and staffing plans.
  • Develop schedules, and assists in participation the execution of all levels of training and administration of exercises
  • Develops schedules and assists in preparing, administrating, and executing all levels of training.
  • Be able to develop all exercise products to include, but not limited to, meeting notes, mock exercise injects, exercise scripts, after actions reports and recommendations, and planning documents
  • Develops exercise products to include (but not limited to) meeting notes, mock exercise injects, exercise scripts, after actions reports, recommendations, and planning documents.
  • Monitors and reviews strategies, doctrine, policies, directives, and operational standards from applicable headquarters and stakeholders.
  • Contributes content to the development of Readiness Reports
  • Contributes content to Readiness Report development.
  • Prepares and coordinates training plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Assists in the evaluation of a Mission Essential Tasks and review of joint mission essential task lists standards
  • Assists with evaluating Mission Essential Tasks (MET) in accordance with Joint Mission Essential Task Lists (JMETL) standards.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's and ten years of related experience; Master's and eight years of related experience.
