SAIC is looking for a Business Process Analyst to work remotely joining a small team working on mission-based projects supporting the FDA Scientific Computing Board (SCB).

 

The FDA SCB mission is to promote collaboration and integration of scientific information technology (IT) needs and requirements to the Tech Council to enhance agency scientific IT systems and infrastructure to advance our regulatory science mission.

 

The successful candidate will work with FDA business customers (SCB Leadership, members and observers), teammates, to determine needs and requirements and deliver key communication products and deliverables. Specifically, the successful candidate will work with team members to

coordinate and manage key SCB/WG initiatives, their activities, meetings, and events;

the event coordination and management of the Board’s yearly symposium, Scientific Computing Days.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Support SCB meeting activities (coordinate with presenters, coordinate presentation reviews, capture summary and action items)
  • Support SCB collaborative efforts/meetings with FDA centers/offices
  • Support SCB working group efforts/meetings SCB members, observers 
  • Support SCB documentation efforts such as standard operating procedures, guidance documents, after action report, annual report, metrics report and other associated process/project planning documents  
  • Support SCB communication activities (peer reviews, presentation development, informational e-mails, call-to-actions, data calls, announcements, newsletters, SharePoint Online site updates, website revisions)
  • Support SCB key stakeholder documentation such as SCB Charter, SCB Strategic Plan, SCB Implementation Plan, SCB Road Map, SCB Horizon Scan and other key documents as requested by the customer
  • Support SCB event management activities for 11th annual Scientific Computing Days (keynotes, breakout session, poster session, booth sessions)
  • Provide project schedule, status, risks, recommendations/solutions to customer

Qualifications

Qualifications and Required Skills:

 

  • Requires Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience working in communications/project management roles
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills *
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills *
  • Ability to interface with customers effectively
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to take ownership of projects/processes
  • Experience with event management
  • Experience with process improvement
  • Experience with communication/products
  • Experience with SharePoint Online
  • Experience with project planning
  • Proficient working in Microsoft Applications such as Zoom, Teams, SharePoint Online, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • 5+ years’ experience working in project management in Health IT is a plus.

Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
