SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, is seeking a Test Engineer to work in a specialized team that will help gain efficiencies in communication and workflow processes by optimizing communication using cross domain network solutions (i.e. unsecure to secure network connections) in conjunction with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Enable the scheduling of tests between secure systems and unsecure systems
  • Provide written reports, spreadsheets, briefings and briefing material, technical solutions presentations, technical papers, analysis by specified timelines as directed on a case-by-case basis, within the contract period
  • Test and deploy a cross domain scheduling solution

 

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Note that additional years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in the following: 
  • Utilizing AWS cloud services such as AWS ProServe and IaC (Infrastructure-as-code)
  • Supporting the development of metrics and visualization tools.
  • Utilizing JIRA and Confluence
  • Utilizing SharePoint and document control management
  • Working with OCR
  • Working within the field of AGILE software testing

Desired:

  • Demonstrated experience having a basic understanding of the overall community security processes and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience obtaining full understanding of the personnel security process with expectations of reviewing and analyzing current trends for improvement of security processing systems.
