Description
SAIC is seeking a Software Lead Support for establishing the Software Support Activity (SSA) for the Radio Frequency Blanking Unit (RFBU) on the F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler.
This opportunity is based out of Crane, IN. Relocation to the area will be considered on a case by case basis, as well as remote/flex work with travel.
The ideal candidate has experience establishing SSAs or has worked within SSA designing and supporting production software. The candidate must be familiar with software development processes and associated tools such as, but not limited to, JIRA, Visual Studio, and GIT. The candidate will support the team lead for the RFBU SSA, which is anticipated to include 3 to 4 software engineers. They will help with defining the production software processes to include, but not limited to, design, verification, configuration management, and quality control.
*The SSA assumes the role of providing post-deployment life cycle support for modifications or upgrades made to a system's software following the system's initial fielding.
