SAIC is actively seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities include:

• Improve CI/CD tools integration/operations, and full automation of CI/testing related to embedded devices in support of the US Army 
• Develop scalable control strategies, standards, guidelines, and governance of Continuous Integration systems 
• Join the ongoing design, implementation, and preservation of systems and tools across Docker and Linux containers 
• Collaborate with internal development and QA, Software, Cyber, and customer teams to help ensure end-to-end quality 
• Write and maintain documentation infrastructure and source code 
• Troubleshoot issues along the CI/CD pipeline including containers, scripts, and C++ software 
• Work directly with the third-party vendors to fix infrastructural issues 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree.

Required Clearance:

• An Interim Secret Clearance must be obtained prior to employment; a Secret Security Clearance must be obtained to maintain employment.

Required Skills:

• *Must have experience with CI/CD*
• Vast working experience on GIT in an agile environment 
• Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring CI/CD pipeline tools 
• Experience in excerpting metrics and results from CI/CD security tools 
• Knowledge in installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring software security pipeline tools in a secure environment 
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops, runners, and containers 
• Security+ or other DoD 8750 certifications preferred
