SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications. 

We are seeking a highly motivated Site Manager to join our team. As Site Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the successful delivery of a program to the Customer. Additionally, you will develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and deliver every project on time within budget and scope.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing staffing requirements
  • Ensuring technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance
  • Defining or contributing to the program baseline, then executing the program to comply with baseline requirements
  • Conducting quality assurance activities for on contract personnel
  • Managing risk, customer relationships, and program staffing
  • Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and escalating challenges to leadership
  • Performing tactical and strategic planning, and coordination to integrate multiple supporting projects into a comprehensive program
  • Supporting business development and program staff management
  • Managing key sub projects that must be integrated
  • Identifying and analyzing serious variances, and directing corrective actions
  • Providing guidance, direction, and mentoring to the internal cross-functional team
  • Developing a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Interacting with senior management for all program and account matters
  • Providing strategic vision to the team
  • Escalating and resolving complex program issues
  • Providing significant input on performance reviews, compensation related actions, and staffing and hiring decisions
  • Interviewing potential hires

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in managing operations
  • Five (5) years of experience producing T/FDOA geolocation solutions
  • Experience with mission management, and personnel management
  • Experience supporting 24/7 work environments

Desired:

  • Experience working in a cloud and/or hybrid environment
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services (This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction)
  • Experience using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP)
