SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Systems Test Engineer to support the National Counterintelligence and Security Center.  This individual will interface with both the development team and senior customers on a daily basis regarding testing priorities, potential system defects, troubleshooting and resolution of issues, and will be leading system status meetings and tracking progress to meet milestones.

The ideal candidate is proactive and results-driven, with strong domain and expert technical knowledge paired with excellent communication and task management skills.  Individual should have experience with JIRA.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze system requirements, concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions
  • Develop and execute comprehensive evaluation and test plans and procedures, to include data collection and analysis
  • Support the development of Government test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test and Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test and Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports
  • Conduct User Acceptance testing (UAT), Systems Integration testing (SIT), and IV&V testing.
  • Provide specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance areas and work with other test organizations to support T&E integration
  • Collaborate with the development team, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize testing requirements, and ensure that the systems meet quality standards and customer expectations
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to testing activities and ensure that all testing activities are completed on time
  • Identify and document test results and communicate any defects or issues to the development team for resolution
  • Lead status meetings with the development team and other stakeholders to discuss the status of system bugs and the progress and timeline for resolution, and capture meeting notes and action items
  • Work with the development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects
  • Evaluate and improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly required
  • Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more of related experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD and nine (9) years or more experience.
  • Experience in software testing and knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
  • 3-5 years’ experience within an IC Agency, preferably ODNI
  • Experience with the Agile development methodologies, JIRA, and MS Office Suite
