SAIC is seeking a Senior Project Controller to support our team in the Indianapolis, IN area.

This position requires reporting to our SAIC site in Indianapolis, IN on a hybrid schedule. 

The Senior Project Controller will be a Team Lead and will participate in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on multiple projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk. This individual will work closely with other Project Controllers as well as Program Management personnel.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Significant interface with program and project managers, senior technical staff, as well as other functional organizations including contracts, finance, accounts receivable, procurement, and subcontract management.
  • Reports detailed information analyzes financial data in support of program and project cost/schedule statuses and presents briefings to SAIC managers and customers as required.
  • Supports development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), quarterly forecasts, monthly latest revised estimates (LREs) and Estimates at Completion (EACs). 
  • Supports maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) and related dictionaries, review of Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and creation of detailed budgets as required.
  • Analyzes cash flow.
  • Works on complex challenges and will be the Project Control Team Lead for our Indianapolis’ Team support.  Will provide program or project control guidance to various levels of staff.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Program Management or Business Administration or related discipline, and six (6) years or more of related experience; Additional years of experience considered in lieu of degree. 
  • US Citizenship required

Required Skills:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Must have financial analysis experience and be skilled in developing and tracking cost projections

Desired Skills:

  • Experience using Costpoint
  • Experience using Cost Point's Material Management Module
