Description

SAIC is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our growing team of diverse professionals in El Segundo, California. The selected candidate will leverage their full-stack web development skills and experience. The selected candidate will evaluate, design, and lead implementation of full-stack cloud solutions in a hybrid cloud environment, building high availability for on and off premise cloud environments.

The candidate will work closely with engineers in accomplishing the following:

• Architect high speed, reliable, fault tolerant Cloud Solutions for hybrid environment cloud services

• Provide complete Operational, System and Technical Architectural blueprint views to include interface description views with physical nodes and interconnections

• Architect solutions for data migrations across hybrid environments and advise on integration of new emerging industry cloud technologies for SSC hybrid cloud environments

• Work with clients to design and lead implementation of full-stack solutions using software that fully integrates with customer’s existing cloud infrastructure (data flow, security, and DevSecOps

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM related disciplines and 5 years relevant experience or a Master’s degree in a technical engineering.  Additional experience will be accepted in lieu of education
• Must have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI 
• Migration of legacy systems to a cloud environment: Full Stack web development experience (Anuglar/React, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, TypeScript, and experience with Databases and DevSecOPS deployment)
• Microservices, swagger and API definitions; and with Docker, Java Python, Elastic Github, Jira, Jenkins, Maven
• Cloud Service Provider certification(s): Solutions Architect, Developer, Administration, Cloud Security [Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Microsoft Azure/Google Cloud Platform (GCP)/IBM Cloud/ Oracle Cloud]

• TS/SCI
• Demonstrated use of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and configuration management (Git, Bitbucket)
• Experience/exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Iac) development and administration developing or using tool s such as Terraform, YAML, Ansible, Cloudformation, or equivalents a plus
• Experience working in Agile software development environment | DevSecOps service/system delivery mode
