SAIC in support of our Space Sensing SE&I team has an immediate need for an Office Manager in El Segundo, California to organize and coordinate office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and support of the Space Force customer. Candidate will support the SAIC Space Sensing SE&I team that in turn supports Space Systems Command Space Sensing Directorate (SSC/SN). The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly customer-service friendly, well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people. Major duties of the position include:

Coordinating internal and customer training

Organizing work processes and work flow to maximize office productivity

Managing personnel records

Planning social events for the office and planning all aspects of meetings/events in multiple geographic locations

Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the behalf of the Leadership Team

Organizing meetings, including scheduling, and sending reminders when necessary and managing schedules for multiple conference rooms

Supporting a variety of onboarding activities for new team members including equipment coordination, badging requests, paperwork collection, etc.

Creating/managing communications for the program, specific groups, and/or individuals including meeting agendas, briefings, and action items.

Assisting personnel with domestic and international travel to accomplish mission requirements efficiently, while complying with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).

Assisting in the generation and submittal of expense reports and collecting and retaining all program related travel documents

Identifying and submitting work orders to ensure office facilities remain fully functional and operational.

Handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
Qualifications
-
Associates Degree in a related discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; technical certifications or training; or work experience

Must have an active Secret clearance

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and operate in a fast paced, demanding environment

Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as Microsoft SharePoint are required

Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task and operate in a fast paced and challenging environment

Excellent communication and customer service skills are needed along with ability to coordinate effectively with various offices
Preferred Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline with 5+ years of related experience supporting senior staff
-
Experience supporting the U.S. Space Force Community
-
Technical writing or editing experience
-
Experience developing and/or facilitating training material and classes
Target salary range: $75,001 - $85,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
