Description
SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide support to the Space Test and Readiness Commands Space Test and Training Complex program office in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The following represents a general overview of duties and responsibilities:
- Plan and execute model development in support of systems engineering objectives and program milestones
- Oversee definition and documentation of program level policies, procedures, guidance, and best practices regarding use of modeling languages and frameworks
- Develop an organized repeatable approach, methodology, language, and style that enables elements usage with a model and sharing between model development projects
- Develop modeling methods driven by Digital Engineering and Systems Engineering objectives, including library of standardized and frequently used patterns
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Math, Science or a technical related field and 2+ years of experience
- Must have a current background investigation commensurate with Top Secret security clearance and adjudicated for SCI access (consent to a polygraph examination)
- Must have experience supporting programs throughout the engineering life cycle with emphasis in one or more of the following areas:
- Modeling & Simulation projects
- Computational modeling
- Data analytics
- Model-Based Systems Engineering
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certification (e.g., INCOSE CSEP, etc)
- Experience in the National Security Space and, or the Space Control mission area
- Demonstrated ability to develop system behavior, structure, data, and requirements models employing either Sparx, Cameo, Model Center, Matlab, STK, Python and other associated modeling applications in a team environment
- Experience in a systems engineering or digital engineering discipline
- Experience working with DoDAF, or other MBSE architecture guidelines
Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
