SAIC is seeking a, Fully Remote, Test and Evaluation Engineer to lead test planning and activities for Ground Vehicle Systems for the US Army.

NOTE: This position can require travel of up to 25%, or more, to test sites in support of related meetings and test events

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for the development of program and/or product Test & Evaluation strategy, approach, process, schedule, and resource requirements. In addition,
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of test activities at the selected test facility, including resolution of test execution issues, chairing of daily test update meetings, management of contractor and/or on-site PM test representatives, tracking of test progress, etc.
• Generate test documentation including Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), specific test plans, schedules, and test report in support of Milestone Decisions and Material Release
• Manage the implementation of an evaluation methodology and framework for product and/or system under test
• Collaborate with product managers, engineering, logistics, contracting, along with multiple external Government organizations to include; Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), the User Representative,  and other Product Offices along with the defense industry
• Provide technical advice and knowledge of program, system engineering, and value management technologies applicable to the test

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors and nine (9) years or more of related experience; experience accepted in lieu of degree
• Experience coordinating and executing Ground Vehicle tests
• Experience managing the test cost, schedule, scope and risk throughout the program lifecycles of Ground Vehicles
• Experience reviewing and analyzing system performance against requirements for the application and integration
• Familiar leading all aspects of a ground vehicle test including test planning, management of test activities, test evaluation, and reporting to various stakeholders
• Must be willing to travel up to 25%, or more, to test sites in support of related meetings and test events

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with military test programs

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain
• Must be a current US Citizen

Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
