Are you interested in joining SAIC to be part of our partnership providing high quality engineering services, system planning, integration, and architecture to our government intelligence agency customer? Then consider joining the members of the SAIC team supporting the Fort Meade government customer Enterprise Systems Engineering organization.
We have a current requirement for an experienced an experienced Full Stack Software Developer working from the customer facilities in the Fort Meade Maryland and surrounding areas. We are seeking developers with experience setting up the entire stack. In this role, the developer will:
- Support an exciting team focused on maintaining an existing suite of code quality tools.
- Provide coaching support across the enterprise addressing tool usage and best practice coding guidance.
- Maintain and continue to evolve the code quality tool suite.
Qualifications
- At least Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
- The candidate must have the following Skills:
- Experience in reverse proxies and SQL-style databases (PostGreSQL preferred)
- AWS architecture skills using Linux servers and databases
- Software development experience in JavaScript (primary) and Python (secondary)
- CASPORT PKI Experience
- GitLab and Jenkins experience for Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery and / or Deployment (CD)
- Build Tool knowledge such as Gradle, ANT, or Maven
- This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph

Desired Skills
Linux (Centos) / Red Hat System Administration experience with fixing security issues and implementing patches
