SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.
We are seeking a highly motivated Program Management Director to join our team. As the Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a program to the Customer. Additionally, you will develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and deliver every project on time within budget and scope.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Managing and integrating activities in accordance with contract requirements
Ensuring technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance
Defining or contributing to the program baseline, then executing the program to comply with baseline requirements
Performing risk management to minimize project risks
Managing risk, customer relationships, and program staffing
Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
Ensuring compliance with quality standards and escalating challenges to leadership
Performing tactical and strategic planning, and coordination to integrate multiple supporting projects into a comprehensive program
Supporting business development and program staff management
Managing key sub projects that must be integrated
Identifying and analyzing serious variances, and directing corrective actions
Providing guidance, direction, and mentoring to the internal cross-functional team
Developing a detailed project plan to track progress
Interacting with senior management for all program and account matters
Providing strategic vision to the team
Escalating and resolving complex program issues
Providing significant input on performance reviews, compensation related actions, and staffing and hiring decisions
Interviewing potential hires
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field
Eighteen (18) or more years of experience in program/project management
Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector
Senior leadership and management skills
Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Excellent communication and verbal communications skills
Desired:
Experience working in a cloud and/or hybrid environment
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services (This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction)
Experience using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities
Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP)
