SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.
We are seeking a highly motivated ICAM / Zero Trust Lead Engineer to join our team. As the ICAM / Zero Trust Lead Engineer, you will research and analyze multi-cloud security environments to develop a comprehensive multi-cloud security approach that applies Zero Trust principles with identified capability gaps and mitigation recommendations for the migration of any project, program, system, entity, instance, Information Technology (IT) asset, or data that exists in the Customer’s environment.
Responsibilities will include the following:
Designing, planning, and integrating cloud computing and virtualization systems
Developing and conducting testing of cloud and virtualization systems
Providing specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, Cloud Service Provider (CSP) selection, implementation techniques, application and data migration techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements
Maintaining technical expertise in relevant industry standards and cloud computing, and virtualization technologies such as CSP architecture, design, and configuration; cloud deployment models, including public, community, private, and hybrid; cloud service delivery models, including infrastructure-, platform-, and software-as-a-service; automation; hypervisors; containers; virtual compute, storage, and networks; virtual infrastructure management; self-provisioning; and scaling
Evaluating and reporting on new cloud and virtualization technologies to enhance capabilities of cloud-based and virtualized services
Developing flexible, secure methodologies that promote and enable secure implementation and operation throughout the lifecycle of the migrating activity
Performing assessments to verify that the migrating activity functions according to identified requirements and that data has secure architecture, tools, and processes, as required by Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 and Zero Trust mandates
Utilizing cloud security best practices to document the cloud security services, and NGA provided enterprise security tools and capabilities necessary to address identified capability gaps
Developing a Zero Trust framework for the security process to ensure migrating activities are migrated in an efficient and timely manner in order to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO) and Initial Operational Capability (IOC)
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with eligibility and willingness to take a CI polygraph
Bachelor’s Degree or related experience in STEM domain or IT related field
15+ years of Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM), or relevant IC and DoD experience
Experience with one or more of the following CSPs:
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
IBM
Microsoft Azure
Oracle
In-depth knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and principles and NIST 800-207 standards
Experience with ICAM program management and support to agency senior leadership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with successful briefings to cross-agency senior leadership
