Description
SAIC is seeking a Logistics Technician to provide logistic support to the Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P) program for the United States Marine Corps to manage inventory, lifecycle logistics, shipping and receiving of government materiel including spare or replacement parts and supplies in Hanahan, SC.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.
- Reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation, support lifecycle of product.
- Work on logistics and maintainability programs on issues such as technical evaluation and identification of systems logistics requirements and resources.
- Analyze, organize, plan and administer various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs.
- Develop logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies.
- Identify, prioritize, and assess key logistics assets and infrastructures.
- Conduct distribution, monitor inventory and analyze requirements in order to track live inventory within the CMPro database.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma and 3-5 years of experience.
Required skills:
- Demonstrated experience as a logistics Technician.
- Demonstrated ability in the application of cycle counting methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability in shipping/receiving processes.
Clearance:
- Must have an active Secret clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of CMPro.
