SAIC is currently looking for hire an Advance Framework for Simulation Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a new and exciting Space Force Program in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Job Overview and Responsibilities:
- Provide systems and software engineering expertise, including translating complex systems into modeling architectures
- Modeling, architecture, simulation and analysis of complex systems
- High Performance Computing deployments, cloud deployments, analytical engine development, and the execution of analyses
- Partner with team of engineers, software developers and engage with customers to understand needs to provide solutions
- The successful candidate must enjoy working in a highly innovative environment, where you not only answer difficult questions, but you also help formulate the questions themselves.

Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelors with nine (9) years of relevant experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Ideal candidate will have a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
Required Clearance:
Must have an interim Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with CI Poly; US Citizenship required.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with Modeling & Simulation tools and employing programming languages such as MATLAB, AFSIM, Python, and/or C++
- Proficient in conducting analysis, and space mission design supporting defense programs and following military requirements
- Familiar with following and working in an Agile environment
- Desire to support new exciting program and solving complex problems both independently and as a team
Target salary range: $175,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
