SAIC’s National Security & Space Group is seeking a Department of Defense (DoD) Systems Integration Specialist to fill a critical position in the Systems Integration Group (SIG). The position is in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.  The SIG directly supports numerous contracts across multiple customers in the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Enterprise, focused on the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle. 

The DoD Systems Integration Specialist will utilize their deep knowledge of US Air Force (USAF) and US Space Force (USSF) programs, personnel, operating objectives and strategic initiatives to closely coordinate with portfolio programs to ensure alignment with DoD mission intent.  You will work side-by-side with program leadership and staff comprised of world class System Engineers, Systems Architects, Integration and Domain Experts providing integration solutions across the portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

• Reports to the Chief, Systems Integration Group to serve as the central point of contact and expert across portfolio for integration of DoD systems with IC tools and architecture
• Maintain detailed knowledge of USAF/USSF programmatic and strategic objectives
• Participate in program reviews and conduct in-depth analysis of program plans
• Drive process, system design and technical solutions for new implementations for DoD  and applicable IC alignment
• Exercise collaboration, situational awareness and understanding across the team and programs
• Conduct executive level presentations and written reports for Customer and Corporate leadership

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

Required:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
• Detailed knowledge and experience in DoD (USAF/USSF) space architectures, systems, and/or operations 
• Strong organizational, time-management, and verbal / written communication skills; able to convey information across multiple customer and corporate audiences 
• Demonstrated successful performance in Space or Ground systems integration
• Capability to adapt to fluid situations and prioritize taskings in a dynamic environment 

Desired: 

• Experience in engagement with Users and Mission entities, coordinating mission needs, and translating to acquisition requirements or actionable strategies
• Extensive experience in a Systems Engineering Integration environment for complex systems, specifically Space and Ground systems supporting DoD and/or IC Space programs.
