SAIC is actively seeking a Flight Test Requirements Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL! In this role you will get to provide technical and engineering support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) - System Engineering Test Requirements (DE/SEF) Organization. *This position is Hybrid Remote and will require 1-2 days on-site*

Daily responsibilities include:

• Work with the Flight Test (FT) Requirements Engineers to execute Agency and SEF processes to implement the necessary engineering documented in the Flight Test Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for MDA flight test events.
• Further understand the Missile Defense System to coordinate with Stakeholders and develop and document flight test requirements, test concepts, and test objectives.
• Provide FT system test event coordination and execution support to ensure test planning and data generation are sufficient to achieve test requirements
• Conduct technical reviews, participate in FT mission planning Generate Test Requirements products as defined in Concept of Operations and test planning documentation
• Interface and coordinate with test event stakeholders to ensure Test Objectives are technically sound Collect, track, and close action items as needed
• Prepare Executive Briefings

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree (STEM Field) and 9+ years of relevant experience; Masters Degree (STEM Field) and 7+ years of relevant experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• Proficient in MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Demonstrated written and oral communication proficiency

Desired Skills:

• 1+ Year of MDA experience Engineering Degree
