SAIC is seeking to fill the position of Quality Assurance Analyst, working for the corporate Office of Business Conduct & Excellence (OBC&E) and supporting the Logistics and Supply Chain Operations located in Fairfield, NJ.

The major programs to be supported are: ChemPOL (Chemicals, Petroleum, Oils and Lubricants); FSG-80 (Federal Supply Group 80); GTP (Global Tires Program); OEM-A (Original Equipment Manufacturing – Alliances); TLS/MRO (Tailored Logistics Support/Maintenance, Repair and Operations); IPV/FRC (Industrial Product Support Vendor / Fleet Readiness Center).

Job Duties:

  • Produce our Monthly QA Report (Program Material Acceptance Rate metrics)

    • Obtaining finance reports from accounting, reporting Items Shipped per program/location along with the collection of Customer Reported Rejects discrepancy metrics from the DR database and calculate material acceptance rates per programs/locations.

  • Perform the SAM scrape (quarterly)

    • Compare to existing vendors/suppliers listed within our procurement database, blocking disbarred suppliers within the database and report quarterly to PM Teams.

  • Maintain Calibration Recall System

    • Produce notification of “calibration due” for inspection equipment, tools, scales, etc. for all listed programs and locations; maintain calibration certifications; maintain tools database.

  • Create quarterly Supplier Score Cards reporting (and maintaining the “Do Not Send” list)

    • Obtain OTD metrics information from the procurement database for each supplier; obtain product acceptance rate from the DR database; create and distribute data and Score Cards to PM Teams and Vendors.

  • Create Supplier Corrective Action Request reporting.

    • Track Score Card history and issue SCARs to suppliers with repetitive SCAR issues; Track Corrective Action responses to closure.

  • Maintain Task Checklist / Procedure Updates

    • Update and maintain Configuration Control of all MSD (Material Support Department) Task Checklists (Storefronts, Warehouses, Cross-docks) as well Remote Site Operations Manuals and SPCC Procedures.

  • Maintain Inspection Stamp process;

    • Assure collection, distribution, tracking and replacement of MSD-issued stamps; maintain history of issue, stamp location logs, stamp audits, etc.

  • Update Spill Report filing and maintaining the logs;

    • Collect spill reports distributed on ChemPOL and FSG-80 from Haas/WESCO/Incora; maintain QA Spill Log; perform trend analysis.

  • Support local SAIC EH&S Activities;

    • Perform semi-annual Environmental Health and Safety audits of our Fairfield, NJ office; tailor Emergency Evacuation Procedures to the new office configuration, as well as fire safety and first-aid station reviews and analysis.

 

The candidate for this position should have sufficient working knowledge and familiarity of the following computer programs and databases to support the task listed above:

  • OpenBravo procurement tool for accessing and reporting;

  • PurchasePlace Reports;

  • Pentaho User’s Console for running reports;

  • PurchasePlace Vendor Rejection and Reporting System (VRRS);

  • Windows Office Applications (Latest Versions) including but not limited to: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat Reader/Editor, Teams, etc.);

 

Candidate should possess a strong set of data analytics skills

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelors degree and 2 years or more experience; ten years’ experience in lieu of degree.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with individuals at all levels of a variety of organizations.
  • Ability to travel when necessary.
  • Familiarity with SAIC Quality Management System and ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
