SAIC is seeking a Joint Enterprise Modeling & Analytics (JEMA) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to work on the LANDMARK AOS program, who will use their technical knowledge, experience using JEMA, and customer-centric focus to create and deliver world-class data modeling content in a simulated operations (SimOps) environment. This is an opportunity to support and evolve an exciting mission in a dynamic team environment responding to critical DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) requirements.  This position is located in Chantilly, VA. All candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.

LANDMARK AOS is a large Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) contract, supporting the customer’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.

Responsibilities Include:

The JEMA SME will coordinate with our customer and mission partners across the DoD and IC to understand questions and issues, then determine the best method and approach to create data-driven solutions. This position will be relied upon as the analytic modeling SME, and help others understand JEMA capabilities and other analytical tools. The JEMA SME will build models, write scripts, and use available tools to automate analytic and collection management tradecraft to help solve complex problems.  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph Required 
• Bachelor degree in engineering, science, or related discipline and 9 years total experience (or a MS degree + 7 years).  Significant applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 2+ years of experience working with JEMA
• Experience (beginner to advanced) using Python or R scripting to manipulate and analyze data
• Ability to communicate information to a senior executive audience in verbal and written formats
• Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment

Desired Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience working as a Data Modeler or Data Scientist
• Experience working in the DoD/Intelligence Community, with emphasis on national overhead sensor architectures/systems for collections and analysis
• Experience with NRO tools, such as Thresher, Multi-INT Event Processor, LMSS/ARGUS, the FADE tool suite, Bodhi, and ChatSurfer
• Expert level JEMA knowledge 
• Experience with developing data visualizations, dashboards, or lightweight web applications to communicate key insights
• Experience using SQL or VBA to conduct complex database queries
