As a member of SAIC’s team, you will assist in providing technical support for the customer’s data architecture efforts.  The team provides on-going operations and maintenance, systems engineering of new systems, and performing analysis on existing and future systems.

SAIC seeks a Solution Architect to provide solutions architecting in the context of Sponsor systems, IT infrastructure, organization, legacy and future functionality. Support the transfer of requirements and capabilities from sunset systems to new software.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide engineering consultation services for Sponsor teams to ease transition into the platform.
• Support data modeling efforts to ensure wide Sponsor adoption and application as well as the health and longevity of the system.
• Complete rapid application prototyping to enable Sponsor teams to build on and configure tools vice having to create from scratch.
• Develop reusable applications/workflows that may be hosted in the App Exchange accelerating work done by Sponsor teams.
• Collaborate on functional requirement conversations both for new Sponsor application needs and to ensure capabilities are captured and transitions from legacy applications. 

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with polygraph
• Bachelors Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline.
• Eighteen (18) plus years of experience
• Demonstrated experience working with agile teams and agile development practices.
• Demonstrated experience with working on multi-discipline project teams.
• Demonstrated experience with Sponsor Networks.
• Experience working in a System Engineering & Integration (SE&I) type functions
• Strong research, writing, and documentation skills

Desired: 

• Demonstrated experience working with requirements for building and integrating applications in Sponsor multi-cloud environments.
