JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC is seeking a Data Center Management Engineer with strong verbal and written communication skills, to support physically separated customers and teammates in a federal government agency.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
The successful applicant will function as an oversight Point of Contact (POC) for the planning, allocation, and utilization of Power, Space, and Cooling (P/S/C) resources within an Intelligence Community (IC) customer’s data centers. The candidate will be responsible for shaping and supporting evolving customer requirements, to include modernization of data center capabilities. Applicants are expected to have an in-depth knowledge of project management and be able to apply them to the planning of data center operations, be able to identify and mitigate issues, create strategic plans that focus on expanding capabilities, and periodically travel to oversee the implementation of those efforts.
The successful candidate will represent the team and the customer at various configuration and requirements boards. The candidate must be proficient in using multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio etc. The candidate will write and edit technical documentation, create and review standard operating procedures and presentations, and review other technical documentation for impacts to the space, power, and cooling resources available within the data centers.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Must be US Citizen
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Sufficient experience may be considered in lieu of education.

Clearance required to remain on the program: TS/SCI with Polygraph
