SAIC is looking for a Quality Assurance Associate to support the MIDAS Weights and Characterization programs; including analyzing of munitions related engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical data. 

NOTE: This position is 100% remote/work from/telework. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applicant will be responsible for conducting research, then entering data directly into the MIDAS program. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must possess excellent computer skills and be able to utilize various databases.
• The ability to read, interpret, and extract date from drawings is critical. 
• Must be able to perform research on subject material constituents, as well as contact various vendors and compile vendor data. 
• Will be responsible for developing and maintaining database to track MIDAS characterization progress.  MIDAS weight calculation.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical program. 
• Applicant must have an AS degree or higher.
• Applicant must have a solid background in drafting and/or CAD modeling and must be able to read and extract information from engineering drawings. 
• Applicant must possess a desire to stay in a position long-term, as position takes a tremendous amount of training to become effective in the completion of characterization packages.

Target salary range: $45,001 - $55,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
