Our contract provides DOMEX exploitation capabilities that support the IC, DoD, Law Enforcement, and Homeland Security in the areas of:  Program Management, Operations and Integration, Intel Specialists, Intelligence Analysts, Collections Analysts, Media Analysts, Data Management/Science.

SAIC is Seeking a member for the Media Management Team at the National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC). As the first entry point for forensic images and devices entering NMEC, the Media Management Team is in charge of analyzing the data and tracking the information of the media. Forensic programs and tools will be used for creating forensic images and analyzing the data. Working with external/internal customers on receiving media to NMEC and sending it out to external customers. We are seeking a new team member to help with this forensic data and analyzing/organizing it in a quick and timely manner along with presenting this data to the customer.

 

In the Media Management position you will be recognized for the work you put in. You will work on multiple tasks that will range from multiple levels of importance. You will learn multiple new forensic tools and programs while in this position along with meeting with many other positions at the center and get an understanding of what they do.

Responsibilities include:

  • Data entry of information about the media that has been received. This information is manually entered into multiple databases.
  • Create forensic images of media received and copy forensic images to the network share.
  • Learn and oversee the automated tools that ingest the media onto the network.
  • Perform basic forensic triage of media to determine if it is a valid image.
  • Periodically perform courier duties to retrieve or deliver media to/from partners.
  • Coordinate with customers and Leadership on delivery of media to NMEC.
  • Periodically brief Senior Leadership on work status and priorities

 

 

Qualifications

  • Clearance - TS/SCI with CI Poly
  • Education - Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, within a related field
  • Years of Experience - 1 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Certifications -
  • Tools –   
    • EnCase, FTK, XRY, Autopsy, and/or Cellebrite

Desired 

  • Must be willing to work in a highly collaborative approach, managing multiple competing priorities and assignments
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience and capability using computer forensic tools, at least one of the following: EnCase, FTK, XRY, Autopsy, and/or Cellebrite UFED
  • Experience with proper Forensic Techniques with handling evidence and creating forensic images.
  • Experience with Window OS, LINUX OS, and/or MAC OS
