Lead engineering teams to develop and deploy space and ground based SATCOM systems
-
Perform system integration of multiple efforts to integrate space SATCOM systems with satellites, space SATCOM with ground SATCOM systems, and ground SATCOM systems with Satellite Operations Centers

Direct and participate in analyses of advanced RF and digital communication applications to existing and future SATCOM systems

Direct various systems architecting and engineering activities such as system requirements definition, interface definition, design, interface management, data architecture development, systems integration, performance analysis, lifecycle cost analysis & estimation, decision analysis, development and refinement of communications concepts of operation, and verification and validation

Independently collaborate with Government program office representatives, FFRDC, SETA, and contractor personnel
Qualifications

Bachelor of Science and eighteen (18) years or more experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience

Active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to consent to a polygraph examination

Experience with development, integration, and/or operations of DoD or other Agency (NRO, NSA, NASA, etc.) SATCOM ground and space systems

Experience with leading systems engineering teams focused on integration of complex space and/or ground systems
Target salary range: $215,001 - $225,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
